shampoo is a viscous liquid that is used for washing of hair and scalp. This product is demanded by almost every adult. It should also be a product of great interest.
Both men and women makes use of shampoo on a daily basis thereby making it highly demanded from the producers and at some point, the cost of it is been inflated .
Now we could deal with the inflation of the price of shampoo by producing it ourselves and use and also supply to our local salons and to our neighbours who could be in need of it.

In the production of shampoo, you need certain equipment which are as follows;
Mixer
Stirrer
Measuring containers
Weighing scale.

Below are the raw materials needed and the quantity as well.
Antisol.                  0.15kg
Soda ash.              1/4kg
Sulphonic acid.      1/2ltrs
SLS                            0.15kg
Glycerin                     little
Formalin.                   Little
Colourant.                 As desired
Foam booster/Emulsifier.       0.15kg
Caustic soda.                         0.1kg
Fragrance                              As desired


PROCEDURE:
Soak the antisol overnight or more with a little water
Measure out the right quantity of soda ash and dissolve it in water
Soak the SLS with little water and dissolve completely
Mix the SLS solution with little antisol
Now pour the fermented antisol in a mixer , sieve the soda ash and add as u stir,
Add the SLS to the solution and keep stirring
Add the sulphonic acid to the solution and stir properly
Add the glycerin and the formalin and stir properly
Dissolve your colourant and add as desired
Continue stirring and finally add your fragrance and stir properly to homogenise.
Your shampoo is ready for use and package for sale.
Note; its better left for some hours for proper concentration before use.

However, we could curtail cost for some things we use by learning how to do them on our own in this financial and economic meltdown.
